Product Overview
The base of this entire vest is made of three layers: Ballistic nylon fabric sandwiched between two layers of orange textured nylon fabric. On top of this shell are sewn protective side and chest panels The side panels are made of viper cloth and closed cell foam that have been stitched for added strength and durability. The foam will not absorb water therefore it adds a dimension of buoyancy to the vest. The chest area has a panel of viper cloth and 2 layers of Dupont™ Kevlar® and is also stitched for added strength and durability. These panels absorb the impact of a blow. This vest provides protection in the "key" areas of impact when catching a hog. It comes standard with a high neck that overlaps the cut collar and reflective tape on both sides. Five black nylon straps secure the 2XS vest in place - two go over the neck area and three over the back. On the 3XS and 4XS there are four nylon straps - two go over the neck area and 2 over the back. Nickel plated hardware. One tough vest!
These are the approximate measurements to help choose the correct size vest for your dog:
2XS fits a barrel of 21-23 inches, 3XS fits a barrel of 19-21 inches, 4XS fits a barrel of 17-19 inches.
